Local Tobacco Factory Tour
Cigar connoisseurs the world over argue over which country produces the best cigar; Dominican, Cuban, Nicaraguan or others. Now you can join in with your opinion by coming with us to visit a local cigar factory where you can see and experience the making of fine cigars from Dominican and Cuban tobacco leaves.
You will go with an English-speaking tour guide who will explain the entire process. See how the plant is grown, dried and stored, watch the skilled cigar makers deftly cut the dried leaves and chose just the right “capa” (cover wrap) to make a truly world class cigar. These are some of the best cigars you will ever enjoy!
The tour includes a selection of an excellent hand-made cigar and a shot of a Dominican alcoholic drink called “Mamajuana” or a soft drink for the children. Even if you do not smoke, you will thoroughly enjoy this tour. Bring some cigars home for your friends, business associates or family members; these are all Dominican-wrapped cigars so there is never a US Customs problem!
