Gourmet Kitchens
Designing the house for both intimacy
and group affairs called for more than
just one kitchen. So within the main house
is the main kitchen with all of the features
and top-end appliances one might expect
in a fine home. A step away from the main
house, towards the on-site staff suite,
is a second kitchen designed to allow
preparation and cooking for large groups.
Main Kitchen
The main kitchen of Villa Castellamonte
was designed and built in Canada by a
top-notch kitchen cabinet firm known for
their craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Shipped down from Quebec, the kitchen
was installed by the same people who built
it to ensure a custom fit and finish.
Throughout the kitchen are appliances
seen in the finest homes in the world.
SubZero, Thermador, Asko, Franke and Henckels
are just a few of the names discerning
chefs of the world know to offer the best.
The kitchens at Villa Castellamonte is
under the care of highly trained chefs
visiting from throughout the world to
provide you with the most spectacular
meals imaginable. French, Italian, Dominican
and other cuisines are available for the
asking.
Service Kitchen
The service kitchen, located outside
of the main house but only steps away
from the main kitchen, is reserved for
when a large group is being served and
additional preparation or cooking is required.
Also located in the service kitchen are
the Thermador double-ovens so the heat
from the ovens doesnt get into the
house.
Wine Cellar
Within the service kitchen a guest might
discover a large and rather massive looking
door, similar in design to Tuscan castle
doors. Behind this door is the private
wine cellar of the owner and, for the
fortunate guest; an invitation to peruse
the private stock may be arranged. Rumor
has it some fantastic Dominican cigars,
specially made by Arturo Fuente, and some
Cubans may be found. Only the concierge
has the key to the vault!
